The Foal IgG Quick Test Kit is a qualitative test of the foal's plasma to determine the gross amount of IgG in the foal’s blood. The test can be given in 2 parts. The first gives a value “greater than or less than” 400mg/dl. The second test gives a value of “greater than or less than” 800 mg/dl. Together, this 2 step package will advise the veterinarian if the foal is experiencing FPT and by how much.
